Who can take part
- You have stage IIb–IIIa liver cancer, or stage Ia–IIa liver cancer and cannot or choose not to have surgery, transplant, or ablation.
- Your liver function is at a level called Child-Pugh A or B (moderately healthy).
- You can still manage most daily activities on your own (ECOG score 0–2).
- You have at least one tumor in the liver that hasn't been treated with embolization before and is 1–10 cm in size.
- You do not have cancer that has spread outside the liver or is widespread throughout the liver.
- No active serious infections, severe kidney or liver problems, or bleeding disorders.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not in another clinical trial.
