Who can take part
- You are 18 to 65 years old and have a diagnosis of neuropathic pain (like diabetic nerve pain, trigeminal neuralgia, or post-stroke pain).
- You have tried at least two standard pain medications and other treatments for 3 months or more, but they did not help enough.
- Your average pain over the past week is at least 4 out of 10 on a standard pain scale.
- You have been on the same pain medications for at least 30 days and agree not to change them during the study.
- You are willing to use effective birth control (not oral contraceptives) and not plan to have children during the study.
- You do not have serious health issues like unstable heart disease, recent heart attack, severe liver or kidney problems, bleeding disorders, or active infections.
