Who can take part

  • You must be comfortable in an MRI scanner (no metal implants, pacemakers, or other incompatible devices).
  • You cannot be taking certain medications for blood pressure, seizures, Parkinson's, HIV, mania, or other conditions (some exceptions apply).
  • You must not have certain medical conditions like epilepsy, heart problems, severe hypertension, cancer, liver or kidney disease, Type I diabetes, or major neurological disorders.
  • You cannot be pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the next 3 months.
  • You must not have a history of suicide attempts or recent suicidal thoughts.
  • You cannot have had brain stimulation therapy in the past month.
