EUS procedure to bypass blocked bile ducts when ERCP fails

This trial studies a new way to access the bile ducts using a scope guided by ultrasound when standard ERCP can’t be done or doesn’t work. It may help people with non-cancer (benign) bile duct blockages get the bile flowing again.

Camera and ultrasound for bile duct narrowings without jaundice

This study tests a tiny camera and ultrasound probe that can be passed through a scope to look inside the bile duct. It may help doctors better diagnose and treat bile duct narrowings that do not cause jaundice.

NCT06978231Recruiting
EUS during ERCP for pancreatic and bile duct diseases

This trial looks at whether doing an endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) in the same session as an ERCP (a procedure to open blocked bile or pancreatic ducts) is helpful. It is for adults who need an ERCP for the first time and have not had a pancreatic or bile duct EUS in the last 3 months.

Preoperative EUS for bile duct cancer

This study looks at whether doing an endoscopic ultrasound (a thin, flexible tube with a camera and ultrasound) before surgery helps in treating bile duct cancer. It may provide more information to guide your operation.

Ultrasound-guided tube meeting vs. small cut for bile duct access

This trial compares two ways to get a tube into your bile duct when the usual method is difficult: one uses a special ultrasound-guided technique to meet the tube from a different angle, and the other uses a small cut to open the duct. It may help your doctor choose the safest and most effective approach for you.

EUS-guided bile drainage with a new metal stent

This trial tests a newer, ultrasound-guided procedure to drain blocked bile flow using a special metal stent. It may help people who have bile duct blockage but could not have their bile drained successfully with standard ERCP.
