Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • Your anatomy is suitable for an ultrasound-guided bile drainage procedure (EUS-guided hepatico-gastrostomy).
  • You have symptoms of blocked bile flow outside the liver, such as jaundice, bile-type pain, or cholangitis.
  • You had an unsuccessful ERCP, or your ERCP is expected to be difficult or high risk for pancreas inflammation.
  • You can sign the consent form (and provide assent if that applies).
