Who can take part
- You must have at least 3 abnormal results from a second round of screening tests.
- Or you must have 2 abnormal results plus a high-risk condition like lymphoma, EBV infection, or an autoimmune disease.
- You cannot have serious liver disease, bleeding, shock, sepsis, or multiple organ failure.
- You cannot have DIC (a severe blood clotting disorder), long-term anemia, or a specific type of leukemia (acute promyelocytic leukemia).
- You must not have taken steroids or immunosuppressant drugs within 72 hours before entering the hospital.
