This study looks at how often patients develop pressure injuries (sores from lying in one position too long) during long brain surgeries. It tracks patients before, during, and after surgery to find ways to prevent these injuries.

Who can take part
- You are an adult (18 or older) having scheduled brain surgery that will last more than 3 hours.
- You will be positioned on your stomach, back, side, or in a beach-chair/sitting position during surgery.
- You will have a bladder catheter placed to measure your body temperature during surgery.
- You are admitted to the neurosurgery ward the day before your surgery.
- You do not have any visible pressure sores or skin injuries before surgery.
- You do not have a cognitive disorder or trouble understanding written or spoken information.
