Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) with a tumor in the main vein of your liver.
  • You have had a procedure called TIPS to reduce pressure in your liver within the last 72 hours.
  • You are taking lenvatinib and a PD-1 inhibitor (immunotherapy) as your first cancer treatment.
  • Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh A or B) and you are able to do daily activities (ECOG 0-2).
  • You have no more than five tumors in your liver and no more than two other organs with limited spread.
  • Your blood counts and kidney and liver tests are within safe limits.
