Who can take part

  • You are either a healthy adult with no history of head, neck, or shoulder injury or surgery, OR an oral cancer patient who has limited mouth opening (trismus) or neck/shoulder problems after surgery or radiation.
  • You did not have radiation therapy for head and neck cancer, except for oral cancer patients in the second group.
  • You are between 20 and 65 years old.
  • You are able to communicate clearly and understand instructions.
  • You do not have any condition that affects how you move your jaw, neck, or shoulders.
