This study tests whether a special gel made from your own blood (platelet-rich fibrin) can speed up tooth movement after a premolar extraction. You would be wearing braces, and one side of your mouth gets the gel while the other side is the control, so we can see if it works.

Who can take part

  • You are starting orthodontic treatment with braces.
  • Your upper first premolar (the tooth just behind the canine) needs to be removed to make space.
  • You have mild to moderate crowding in your upper teeth.
  • You have good oral hygiene and healthy gums (no deep pockets or bone loss).
  • You have not had orthodontic treatment before.
  • You are not a smoker, not pregnant, and do not have conditions like diabetes, bone disorders, or blood problems.
