  • You have severe knee arthritis that causes pain and limits daily activities.
  • The ligaments in your knee are still stable and intact.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have not had a broken knee or major knee surgery in the past, except for simple arthroscopy or meniscus surgery.
  • You do not have other joint diseases like rheumatoid arthritis or an active infection.
