Who can take part

  • You are 21 years old or older.
  • You regularly use a kratom extract product from a well-known US brand listed in the study.
  • You can provide an unopened package of your kratom product with a clear label showing the product and vendor.
  • You have not had any sudden health problems from your kratom dose in the past month, and you have never needed medical help for a kratom-related event.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you do not have a history of psychotic disorder, untreated bipolar disorder, or untreated major depression.
  • You do not have a physical dependence on alcohol, benzodiazepines, or opioids that needs medical help, and you have not used fentanyl in the past month.
