  • You are between 21 and 55 years old
  • You have a healthy weight (BMI between 18.5 and 29.9)
  • You have not used kava, kratom, or nicotine products in the past 3 months (or very minimally)
  • You are willing to avoid kava, kratom, nicotine, and alcohol during the study
  • You have no serious liver, kidney, heart, or psychiatric health conditions
  • You are not taking medications that could dangerously interact with these plant products
