This study looks for biological markers of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in young women. If you are between 15 and 25 and have not used hormonal birth control recently, you may be able to help researchers find better ways to diagnose PCOS.

Who can take part

  • You are female and between 15 and 25 years old.
  • You have had your first period at least one year ago.
  • You are not using hormonal birth control (like the pill, patch, ring, or hormonal IUD).
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have a major ovarian issue, such as only one ovary, cysts, or solid masses larger than 2 cm (about the size of a grape).
  • You do not have a current or past cancer diagnosis or active treatment like radiation or chemotherapy.
