Who can take part

  • You have a type of lung scarring, such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), familial pulmonary fibrosis, or other fibrotic lung disease.
  • Your lung function tests meet certain levels: FVC (breathing capacity) is at least 45% of normal, and DLco (oxygen uptake) is at least 40% of normal.
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You can understand and speak Dutch or English.
  • You do not have combined scarring and emphysema (CPFE), active cancer (except minor skin, breast, or prostate cancers), or severe asthma/COPD.
