Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You need to understand the study and sign a consent form.
  • You must have health insurance (social security or equivalent).
  • You can join if you have no known eye disease (other than needing glasses or contacts), or if you have an optic nerve problem, a retinal/choroidal condition, or a retinal blood vessel disease in at least one eye.
  • You must be able to sit still for the exam.
  • You cannot have an implanted electronic device like a pacemaker, have a history of light sensitivity, or certain infections or skin issues.
