Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- You can understand the study and agree to participate
- You can visit the Centre for Eye Research Australia for one study visit
- You either have a diagnosed retinal or optic nerve disease (such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, or age-related macular degeneration) OR you are a healthy volunteer with no known eye diseases
- Your eyes are healthy enough to be photographed—no dense cataracts, severe corneal scarring, or bleeding in the eye that would block clear pictures
- You can safely have your pupils dilated (widened with eye drops) with no history of narrow angles or angle-closure glaucoma
