TMS vs usual care for first-episode depression

  • You are 18 to 64 years old
  • You are having your first or second episode of major depression
  • Your depression is moderate to severe
  • You are not currently in a psychiatric hospital
  • You have not had a problem with alcohol or drugs in the last 6 months
  • You do not have bipolar disorder, psychosis, or a history of epilepsy
