Alma system for postpartum bleeding after childbirth

Who can take part

  • You are a woman age 18 or older
  • You are able to understand and agree to join the study
  • You have heavy bleeding after childbirth (either vaginal or C-section) within 24 hours of delivery
  • You have lost a specific amount of blood (500-1500 ml for vaginal birth, 1000-1500 ml for C-section)
  • Your bleeding did not stop after standard first treatments like medicine and uterine massage
