Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are breathing very fast (over 25 breaths per minute) or showing signs of struggling to breathe
- Your oxygen level is below 90% or your blood test shows high carbon dioxide and low pH
- You are breathing on your own (not on a breathing machine or non-invasive mask)
- You are not currently being treated with antibiotics for a lung infection
- You have no known diaphragm problems (like paralysis or weakness)
