Comparing two treatments for nosebleeds in children

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 6 and 17 years old.
  • Your child has had at least 4 nosebleeds in the past month, with at least one each week.
  • The nosebleeds always come from the same nostril.
  • Nosebleeds did not stop with antibiotic cream or silver nitrate treatment.
  • Your child has no blood disorders (like hemophilia or leukemia), hasn't had nose surgery, and doesn't have conditions like hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
