Eye education for parents to control myopia in children

Who can take part

  • Your child is 5 to 17 years old
  • Your child has not worn soft contact lenses for at least 1 week, or hard lenses for at least 3 weeks, or special overnight lenses (orthokeratology) for at least 3 months
  • Your child's vision with glasses or contacts is 20/20 (normal) or better in both eyes
  • The amount of nearsightedness is -15 to +2 diopters (mild to high nearsightedness or slight farsightedness)
  • No current eye infections or diseases like severe dry eye, cataracts, or glaucoma
