Who can take part

  • Your child is in grades 1 to 4 at a participating primary school.
  • Your child has mild farsightedness that may lead to nearsightedness, or already has nearsightedness.
  • A parent or guardian must give permission, and the child must agree to take part.
  • Your child must be willing to attend check-ups during the study.
  • Your child has not had any other myopia prevention treatment in the last 3 months.
  • Your child does not have eye problems like crossed eyes or lazy eye, and has no skin issues on the ear that would prevent ear acupressure.
