Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You have moderate to severe dry eye (stage 3 or 4).
- Your eyelids must close normally and be in the correct position.
- You must have low tear production (less than 5 mm moisture on a test strip in 5 minutes).
- You cannot have had eye surgery (including LASIK) in the last 12 months.
- You cannot have certain eye infections, allergies, or conditions like active herpes or iritis.
- You cannot wear hard or scleral contact lenses in the last 6 months or soft contacts in the last month.
- You cannot be using other eye drops or certain medications like steroids or allergy meds unless stable for 30 days.
