Who can take part

  • You must be between 7 and 17 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosis of ADHD confirmed by a specialist.
  • Your ADHD symptoms must be at least moderate (score above 24 on a standard rating scale).
  • You can be new to ADHD treatment, have taken stimulant medication before, or be on a steady dose of stimulants like methylphenidate or lisdexamphetamine.
  • You cannot have epilepsy, metal implants, serious heart problems, certain other mental health conditions, or an IQ below 70.
  • You must not be taking atomoxetine or guanfacine, and you should not have significant sleep problems or other issues that would make using the forehead device difficult.
