Who can take part

  • Child has a doctor's diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), confirmed through standard testing.
  • Child has a diagnosis of ADHD, with a specific symptom score above 24 on a standard ADHD rating scale.
  • Child's IQ is above 70 (confirmed by a previous or study-administered test).
  • Child's medications have been stable for at least 4 weeks before starting the trial.
  • Child and the main caregiver must speak, read, and understand English well enough for study questionnaires.
  • Child must not have certain other conditions like current severe depression, psychosis, bipolar disorder, or a high risk of self-harm.
