Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are scheduled for keyhole gallbladder removal (laparoscopic cholecystectomy).
- Your anesthesia team has rated your health as ASA I, II, or III (mild to moderate health issues, but stable).
- You are not taking blood thinners (anticoagulants) and do not have a bleeding disorder.
- No infection or allergy where the numbing injection will be given, and no allergy to local anesthetics.
