Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have a body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 30.
- You are scheduled for a planned (not emergency) laparoscopic gallbladder removal.
- You do not have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners.
- You are not currently pregnant or allergic to local anesthetics.
- You have not been using strong pain medicines (opioids) regularly before surgery.
