MRI study of anergic depression in older adults

Late Life Depression

Who can take part

  • Age 60 to 89 years old
  • Currently have or have had anergic depression (a severe lack of energy and motivation) – confirmed by two study psychiatrists
  • Able to understand the study and give your consent
  • No metal implants, pacemaker, claustrophobia, or other MRI safety issues
  • No other mental or physical condition that could affect the MRI results
