Who can take part

  • You have a tooth in the upper front area that cannot be saved and needs to be removed, and you want a dental implant.
  • Your gums and overall mouth are generally healthy.
  • You do not smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day.
  • You do not have an active infection or a hole in the bone at the extraction site.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have conditions that slow bone healing (like uncontrolled diabetes, HIV, bone diseases) and have not taken certain osteoporosis medications (bisphosphonates) by mouth or IV.
