Who can take part
- You are 50 years old or older.
- You are missing at least some back teeth on the lower jaw and have a removable partial denture that feels loose.
- You have enough bone in your jaw to place either a short implant (6 mm) or a standard-length implant (7.5–10.5 mm).
- You do not have uncontrolled diabetes, active infection, or a history of radiation to the head or bisphosphonate use in the past year.
- You do not smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day or have severe teeth grinding.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
