Who can take part

  • You are between 8 and 15 years old.
  • Your nearsightedness is between -0.50 and -6.00 diopters, with no more than -1.50 diopters of astigmatism in either eye.
  • The difference in vision between your eyes is less than 1.50 diopters.
  • Your best corrected vision is 20/25 or better (with glasses or contacts) in both eyes.
  • You have normal eye pressure (below 21 mmHg) in both eyes.
  • You have normal binocular (two-eye) vision and depth perception.
  • You and your parent/guardian understand and agree to be randomly assigned to a treatment group.
  • You have not used any myopia control treatments (like atropine, special glasses, or contact lenses) recently without a washout period.
