Who can take part

  • Your child is between 3 and 6 years old.
  • Your child has mild nearsightedness or farsightedness (within a certain range after eye drops are used).
  • Your child does not have other eye problems like crossed eyes (strabismus), lazy eye (amblyopia), or cataracts.
  • Your child has not used special contact lenses, atropine eye drops, or other myopia treatments in the last 4 weeks.
  • Your child can understand instructions and cooperate to wear glasses as needed.
  • You (as a guardian) can agree to regular check-ups and sign a consent form.

Low-dose atropine drops to slow childhood nearsightedness
