Who can take part

  • You are generally healthy and between 18 and 45 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 19 and 26, and you weigh at least 110 pounds (if male) or 99 pounds (if female).
  • Your LDL cholesterol is below 159 mg/dL and your triglycerides are below 301 mg/dL.
  • You do not smoke more than 5 cigarettes per day and can avoid all smoking during the study.
  • You agree to use effective birth control (if female) or have your partner use birth control (if male) for 6 months after the last dose.
  • You are not taking any prescription or over-the-counter medications, supplements, or herbal products unless approved by the study doctor.
