This trial tests a special mouthrinse containing amine and zinc lactate to treat plaque-induced gingivitis (gum inflammation caused by plaque) in teenagers. If you or your teen have early gum disease and are eligible for free dental care through the Regional Health Service, this study may offer a home-based treatment option.

Who can take part
- You must be a generally healthy teenager without any major medical conditions.
- You are eligible for free or low-cost dental care through the Regional Health Service because of your family's income.
- You have at least 16 natural teeth (excluding wisdom teeth).
- You have been diagnosed with plaque-induced gingivitis (gums that bleed or are red and swollen due to plaque) or have healthy gums as defined by gum specialists.
- You are not currently smoking, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
