Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • Your breast cancer has spread to other parts of the body (stage IV).
  • Your doctor plans to give you high-dose radiation (SBRT) to a spot in your bone.
  • Your cancer is hormone receptor positive (ER+ or PR+) and HER2 negative.
  • Your doctor plans to restart the targeted therapy abemaciclib (Verzenio) after radiation.
  • You are able to swallow pills and have adequate organ function (kidney, liver, blood counts).
