Abemaciclib after local recurrence in HR+ HER2- breast cancer
Part of Cancer, Skin clinical trials.
This trial tests whether adding a targeted drug (abemaciclib) to standard treatment helps prevent breast cancer from coming back again after a local recurrence in women with HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer.

Who can take part
- This is the first time your breast cancer has come back in the same area (breast, chest wall, or nearby lymph nodes).
- The cancer cells are hormone receptor-positive (HR+) and HER2-negative.
- You have not taken a CDK4/6 inhibitor (like Ibrance, Kisqali, or Verzenio) before.
- You have no signs of cancer spread to other organs (distant metastasis).
- You are 18 or older and able to care for yourself (ECOG 0 or 1).

This trial tests whether a targeted therapy (abemaciclib) combined with focused radiation (SBRT) to a bone tumor can help people with advanced breast cancer. It is for patients whose cancer is hormone receptor positive and HER2 negative, and who will continue abemaciclib after radiation.
This trial tests whether the drug abemaciclib can help women with hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer who still have signs of cancer DNA in their blood after standard treatment. It aims to prevent a future return of the cancer.
This study looks at real-world safety and side effect management of abemaciclib combined with hormone therapy for patients with RH+, HER2- breast cancer. It aims to understand how well patients tolerate treatment outside of clinical trials.
This trial tests if adding abemaciclib (a targeted pill) to standard chemotherapy before surgery can shrink HR+/HER2- breast cancer and allow less extensive surgery. It also aims to see if a genetic test (Oncotype DX) can help guide treatment decisions.
This Phase 1/2 trial tests whether combining abemaciclib with bicalutamide can slow or shrink HER2-negative, androgen receptor–positive (AR-positive) metastatic breast cancer. It mainly looks at safety and side effects, and also whether the combination can help patients with this type of breast cancer.
This study tests whether women with early-stage HR+/HER2- breast cancer can safely take a higher dose of the drug abemaciclib (Verzenio) after surgery. The goal is to keep the treatment as strong as possible while managing side effects.
