  • You are male or a woman who cannot become pregnant
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 35
  • You have had chronic hepatitis B for at least 12 months
  • You are hepatitis B e-antigen negative
  • Your hepatitis B virus is well-controlled by current antiviral medication
  • You do not have cirrhosis or liver cancer
