Stretching and relaxation for kids with spastic cerebral palsy

Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy

Who can take part

  • Your child has a type of cerebral palsy called spastic diplegia (mostly affects the legs).
  • Their muscle tightness is mild to moderate (less than 3 on a 0–4 scale).
  • Your child can understand and follow simple instructions.
  • Your child does not have epilepsy.
  • Your child does not have serious hip or spine problems, severe joint contractures, or a recent leg surgery.
