Can a device that makes small noises improve balance and walking?

Who can take part

  • You are age 60 or older, or between 21 and 59
  • You have no major health problems
  • You are not taking strong medications for mental health conditions
  • You can stand on your own for 30 seconds and walk for 6 minutes without help
  • You have no implanted medical devices like a pacemaker or cochlear implant
  • You have no history of stroke, seizure, or certain other conditions
