How longtime exercise habits affect aging muscles and metabolism

Who can take part

  • You are 56 years of age or older.
  • You are a non-smoker or quit more than 3 years ago.
  • Women: you have gone through menopause at least 6 months ago.
  • You do not have any chronic health conditions, take no regular medications, and haven't been hospitalized in the last 6 months.
  • Either you have been very physically active (aerobic exercise at least 3 days a week) for the last 30 years, OR you have been mostly inactive (little to no exercise) during that time.
