Who can take part

  • You were diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer (a type that grows fast but can be treated with targeted drugs).
  • Your cancer was stage I to III (T1-T4, N0-N3, M0) before any treatment – meaning it hadn't spread to other body parts.
  • You received at least 4 rounds of two targeted therapy drugs (trastuzumab and pertuzumab) plus chemo before surgery.
  • After surgery, you still had some cancer left in the breast or lymph nodes (called 'residual disease').
  • You are part of a long-term breast cancer study at Peking University People's Hospital.

Shorter chemo with targeted drugs for low-risk HER2 breast cancer

This trial tests whether a short course of chemo plus two targeted drugs (trastuzumab and pertuzumab) before surgery works well for people with early-stage, low-risk HER2-positive breast cancer. It may help reduce the need for stronger chemo later.

Chemo plus targeted therapy for high-risk HER2+ early breast cancer

This trial tests whether combining chemotherapy with targeted therapy works better for women with high-risk, HER2 positive early breast cancer that hasn't spread to lymph nodes. If you've had surgery and your tumor fits certain high-risk features, you may be eligible to join.
