Shockwave vs. massage for chronic heel pain

Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 45 years old.
  • You have had heel pain in only one foot for more than 3 months.
  • Your heel pain is worse when you first get out of bed or after resting.
  • You have not had shockwave therapy or the Graston technique for this pain before.
  • You do not have other foot problems like a heel spur, tarsal tunnel syndrome, or previous foot surgery.
  • You do not have certain health problems like diabetes, arthritis, gout, or are not pregnant.
