Home vision training to improve movement after brain injury

This study tests whether home-based visual exercises can improve movement skills in people who have vision loss after a stroke or head injury. If you have partial blindness (on one side or top/bottom) and your brain injury is more than 6 months old, this program may help you regain motor function.

Who can take part

  • You had a stroke or head injury that caused brain damage
  • Your brain injury happened more than 6 months ago
  • You have significant vision loss in one half or the upper/lower half of your visual field, but central vision is still good
  • You do not have memory or thinking problems that would make it hard to follow instructions
  • You have access to a computer or tablet and the internet at home to complete the exercises
