Who can take part

  • You had a stroke that damaged the part of your brain responsible for vision, causing you to lose some sight in both eyes, mostly on one side.
  • You are between 21 and 80 years old and live in the United States or Canada.
  • You can focus your eyes on a small target steadily for about one second.
  • You have your own computer (desktop or laptop) and reliable internet for doing visual training at home.
  • You are able and willing to travel to our lab for a few days of testing and training, and to undergo MRI scans.
  • You do not have other eye diseases, serious memory or seizure problems, or metal implants that make MRI unsafe.
