Who can take part

  • You are male or female
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 27 and 35 kg/m2 (overweight to moderately obese)
  • Your HbA1c (a measure of average blood sugar over 2-3 months) is between 5.7% and 6.4% (prediabetes range)
  • You are generally healthy and do not have any major chronic conditions
  • You are willing to avoid any products (including medications and supplements) that affect blood sugar for the study period
  • You are willing to keep your current diet, sleep, and exercise habits during the study
