Who can take part

  • You were diagnosed with diabetes based on WHO criteria.
  • You have LADA confirmed by a positive GAD antibody (GADA) test.
  • You were diagnosed as an adult (age 18 or older) and were able to avoid insulin for more than 6 months after diagnosis.
  • Your age is between 18 and 70, and your HbA1c is between 7.0% and 10.0%.
  • Your kidney function (eGFR) is 50 or higher, and your liver enzymes (ALT/AST) are not more than 3 times the lab’s upper limit.
  • You are not pregnant or planning pregnancy during the study, and you must not have active serious infections, recent diabetes emergencies, cancer history, or major heart disease.
