- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- A liver biopsy shows you have NASH (a fatty liver disease) with moderate to severe scarring (stage F2 to F4).
- You do not have other liver diseases like hepatitis C, HIV, alcoholic liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, genetic conditions, or drug-related liver injury.
- You are not pregnant.
- You do not have liver cancer, signs of advanced cirrhosis (like fluid in the belly or confusion), other cancers, or a previous liver transplant.
