  • Be between 18 and 65 years old
  • Have symptoms of stress like trouble focusing, tiredness, worry, or trouble sleeping
  • Score between 14 and 30 on a standard anxiety test
  • Score at least 13 on a stress questionnaire
  • Have a body mass index (BMI) between 20 and 35
  • Not take medications for stress or anxiety for at least 4 weeks before the study
