  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have metabolic syndrome (a cluster of conditions like high blood sugar, high blood pressure, and belly fat) and chronic kidney disease
  • You can understand Chinese and own a smartphone to use a messaging app called WeChat
  • You are not currently on dialysis or have had a kidney transplant
  • You have not been doing regular exercise (like 150 minutes of moderate activity per week) in the past month, and are not in another similar trial
